Granted it aint as bad as this
But its still fucking painful and annoying!!!! Though thats not the worst part, my parente seem to be pretty pissed at me fucking myself up the day before the first day of school, and kept on implying that it was my fault that I went basketball-ing before such an important day. The day began with the whole atmosphere around the family being all happy-clappy and shit, as my parents were eagerly anticipating the day their lil' boy takes the first step into a new chapter in life, though by the end of the day, we were engaging in heated arguments over my injury....
Look, I understand your dissapointment at me getting this injury so close to the big day, but its not as if I intentionally busted my own ankle, so why are you putting the blame all on me. Don't give me crap about me knowing better than to engage in such a physical activity before the big day, accidents happen and this is the first time I've ever sustained such a serious injury after over 6 years of playing. So if there's a chance, however small it is that I might get into a car accident while driving, or even fall from a bed I'm sleeping on and go into comatose, or I might choke on my food while eating, I should not do all this things? Please, don't let your emotions cloud your common sense. And what's thiz crap your giving me about it being more dangerous playing ball with people I am not friends with? You have to socialise when your working, and there are good people as well as jerks, or even the odd serial rapist. Its the same thing with playing basketball, and I didn't even hurt my ankle getting pushed by some random asshole, I landed awkwardly. Besides, its only orientation day, what's the big fuss about missing that? Its not as if I won't be allowed to attend classes if I don't go....
Oh, I did attend Orientation day today, though that's for another post, if I feel like it...
